Hi there 👋

Creating art has always been part of who I am — not just a hobby or a pastime, but a deep, inner drive. I often describe it as an itch I have to scratch. When I’m not making something, whether it's painting, pottery, or digital art, I feel its absence in every part of my day.

My creative journey has taken many forms over the years. I earned a degree in art education but never fully stepped into the classroom. Instead, I explored other creative fields — from working as a personal stylist to building a career in marketing. But no matter the role, I always found myself returning to creating.

Most of my work is rooted in nature and inspired by a spiritual connection to the world around me. From the shores of the Chesapeake Bay where I grew up, to the Sierra Nevada mountains that shaped my twenties, and now the peaceful Shenandoah Valley I call home — these landscapes influence the color, texture, and mood of my pieces. I’m drawn to the softness and emotion found in early Impressionists like Van Gogh, Monet, and Degas, and that spirit is reflected in my own style.

Over time, I’ve experimented with many mediums, but I’m finally embracing this calling to create and, more importantly, to share it. This website is the beginning of that journey — a space where my original artwork lives and grows. For now, you’ll find only one-of-a-kind pieces here, but I hope to offer prints in the near future.
